Svea - 08/31/2021

Svea ate most of blueberry waffle and most of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and apple slices.   

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and I just wanted you to see the large assortment of supplies they have set out on the table!! And they are working on tiny little pieces of Art. Ha. Second picture: Back to working on some Art this morning. Svea was telling me about her work and she said, "This one's for Mommy, this one's for Me, this one's for Daddy. Oh No!! I forgot to do one for Avi!!" So the piece on Svea's far right is the one for Avi. Third Picture: I frequently think of silly labels for the pictures and I'm calling this one: "Early years of an Art Critic." She's getting up close and personal using binoculars as she studies this piece of Art. :)

Following picture; Cal and Svea are both in the picture. Cal is under the pillows on the floor and Svea is under the cozy corner rug on the couch. I actually figured out what "game" they were playing too!! Alexa was playing the Sound Track to "Lion King" and Atley was keeping Cal and Svea safe from "Scar" the "bad guy!" :) Last picture: It's kind of a continuation of the above picture. Svea is explaining to Atley her ideas for character acting as they listen to another scene from the "Lion King." :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
