Svea - 09/01/2021

Svea ate French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of Hearty Paleo Stew with meat, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potatoes, green beans, carrots, and tomatoes. She ate saltines and tropical fruit.

Right before Lunch Svea started building a "Castle" like they've been doing the last two days. And she finished the entire thing by herself!! Atley is getting her hair done this morning and wasn't here. Svea wanted to be perfectly clear about something and made this announcement to the boys; "I'm in charge of what everyone does in the Castle!!" I think they were probably already aware of that Svea!! :)

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon. Svea was setting up for a Birthday Party. Who's Birthday? She said, "Me." Haha. When she got the food arranged she said, "Everybody!! Come celebrate!" Initially she couldn't find one of the cake pieces and she accused me of throwing it away!! Ha. (Two days in a row she made the same accusation even though she found it both times. Goofy kid.) Cal started singing, "Happy Birthday" and she cut him off quick!! "I'm not ready yet!!" Haha.

Pictures from today: Svea grabbed the binoculars first thing and was looking at her Dad when he was sitting there waving at her! Ha. Following picture: More binoculars! What are you looking for Svea? She said, "I'm looking for another candle! I found one!!" Haha. The last picture is a Preschool Activity that she's been doing every day this week so far.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
