Svea - 09/02/2021

Svea ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas-n-carrots, and ate applesauce.

Today we went to the Park and Atley randomly yelled to Svea; "Vay Vay! you're a genius!!" Haha. I had to ask; "Why did you say that?" Atley said, "Because she knows everything about me!!" Cracked me up. By the way today is the last Blog day for Atley because she's gonna go on an airplane ride tomorrow morning with Daddy Brad. (To Hamilton for pancakes!)

Svea said, "Hey Gary, I want Alexa to play Nora Boyle open the magic door." That made me laugh. She's obviously referring to the song; "Everyone asked about you" by Bob McGrath. 

First picture: This is left over from yesterday afternoon, but I thought it was so cute how Svea was intently studying herself in the mirror; looking right past me. I'm not sure what this pose is about other than she loves experimenting with all kinds of whacky things!! Ha. 

Here's some pictures of our trek to the Park. Atley pulling the wagon with Miles and Cal aboard and Svea walking along with Atley. Svea also took a turn on pulling the wagon with Atley pushing from behind. I didn't pull the wagon either way; going or returning. Second picture Svea is pumping herself in the swing and she's pretty good at keeping herself going!! I was impressed. And in the third picture I even managed to get all 4 of the kids in the same picture!! Last picture: Svea said they were "wiping off the car so they could go to the restaurant."

For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
