Svea - 09/08/2021

Svea ate whole wheat toast and no banana for breakfast. For lunch she ate pulled pork, ate whole wheat bread, peas/carrots, and three servings of fruit salad. At breakfast Svea was telling Cal what he needs to get her for her birthday!! Haha. And he was listening!! Cal said, "Ok, I'll ask my Mom can you get her dress and shoes!" LOL. Now that's comedy right there!!

Svea asked Alexa to "Play Christmas Music" (that was always Atley's choice) first thing this morning. Guess what!? It's 1:00 and I'm working on Blogs, Svea is assembling some Potato Heads, AND Alexa is still playing Christmas Music. Haha. Cracks me up. 

These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon. I went to Costco and picked up new hearing aids yesterday and Lauralea hung out with Svea and when I got back Svea was in Lauralea's chair with Lauralea's blanket. Feeling pretty special. So cute. Second picture: "Daddy" is the biggest one, "Mommy" on the right, Avi with the long long legs, and Svea is working on drawing herself. "I'm the littlest one." :)

Next picture: Doing some art; more "Daddy, Mommy, and Me." Following picture: checking out her ponytail to get the hair out of her eyes. She eventually had me take it out because it hurt to roll on it playing on the mattress. Third picture: Engaged in some building with the legos. 

Next picture: Svea built this block wall around some of the mattress and then told me I needed to get some more blocks. Ha. She told the boys to "stay inside while I build it." If you look close you can see that Miles is pushing (with his foot) against the wall and it's starting to tip. :) Last picture: Cal and Svea stared to teeter-totter while Miles was making an attempt to keep standing, but he quickly gave up on that idea!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
