Svea - 09/10/2021

Svea ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast, 1 green bean, and ate applesauce. I was in the kitchen putting food on the plates and heard some frantic yelling from the Daycare Room. I brought the boys out and got them in their highchairs and then asked Svea; "What happened out there?" (Asking a 3 year old that question is very sketchy at best!! Ha.) Svea said, "Well Miles hit Cal so I wanted to get away from Cal so he wouldn't hit me too." Then she added, "Cal was being mean. No, I mean Miles." Haha. That certainly clears it all up.

The breakfast conversation between Cal and Svea was all about Birthday parties and the one they always mention is "Nora's Birthday Party." Cal told Svea; "You can come to my house when you are 7." Haha.

First picture: Ok, I had to take a picture of Svea in her beautiful dress and send it to Molly Boyle to see if she approves!! Ha! I totally agree with what Molly Boyle said, "I love that Svea just likes to rock a look regardless of day or night!!"  So true. Look at Svea's left hand; She's in the middle of giving Miles a Speech Lesson. :)

Next picture: Seven Mr Potato Heads and LOTS of accessories in the tub and some toys behind the kids as well. I especially like how Svea has 6 arms on her's. Haha. Fill up the holes with arms! This was the first time Cal played with these in the Preschool Room and he loved it. Following picture: It was hard to get a good picture here, but I like this one. She was bouncing up and down wildly as we were singing songs. 

Last picture: Well both boys are now in their pajamas while their clothes "air out" during Lunch and Nap Time. :) So these three kids had a blast playing all morning. About every 2 minutes Svea is starting a sentence with; "Ok Guys..." or "Hey Guys!!" She definitely keeps them lined out and following her agenda. Ha.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
