Svea - 10/07/2021
Svea ate most of blueberry bagel and most of peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate a bite of hamburger & sausage pizza with the meats, peppers, pineapple, olives, and tomato sauce. She ate whole wheat pizza crust (which we serve on the side), and had a bite of pineapple.
Svea has said this before and it made me laugh again!! "Gary, after January first I want my birthday to be Tember eleven." Haha. Ok, but why do you want to change it? She said, "Because Atley and Avi had the funnest birthdays in Tember!! Ok, that makes total sense! :)
This first picture is from yesterday afternoon when Svea and Cal were playing with the noodles. Svea said, "Cal!! Look at my magnifying glass! I can see light in my noodle!!" "Cal! Do you see light in your noodle!?" Meanwhile Avilene was playing with the fly swatter chasing box elder bugs and knew I was gonna take a picture! So she ran to the fence and sticks the fly swatter through the fence. Haha.
Next picture: Svea has been asking the boys if they want water and then she goes and gets the waters. I still have 6 identical bottles with names on the bottles. She has figured out what Miles' and Cal's names look like and gladly retrieves them. And the boys immediately sit on the step waiting for the water. Miles kept scooting closer to Cal and Cal kept scooting over until half of his butt cheek is off the step.:) Following picture: Svea said, "Hey Gary! Look! All my letters are out of the water!!" Yes they are; you've drank a lot of water this week.
Next picture: Cal did 3 or 4 puzzles before he got tired of it and Svea was offering lots of encouragement. She cheered and clapped when he was successful. She said things like this; "Turn it around." "That corner goes in that corner." "It's in a tricky spot." Ha. "That's a tricky one!!" That was very sweet how she wanted him to be successful.
Last picture: The kids colored some coffee filters and then I sprayed water on them and as usual they are very pretty. I forgot to take a picture so I asked them to "come and look at your art so I can take a picture." And they took their assignment very seriously; Look at the boys staring at the art work. Ha. Thank you everyone for the nice picture.
