Svea - 10/18/2021

Svea ate bran cereal and no raisins for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, no green beans, and no pears. 

Svea at breakfast: "Mommy had to bring cushions to Philipsburg. There was a Candy Store by Philipsburg. Down at the bottom of the hill." 
"Hey, I have a story to tell you. We went to McDonalds and somebody stole a bus and the police were trying to get the thief. So Mommy had to go inside to get our food."
Svea at Lunch: Singing a song that went like this; "Be nice on the motel in the street night." Over and over and over again. Not a song I've seen on my kid's list!! LOL!!

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon when Svea was playing with the Doll House and accessories. "Hey Gary, look at this. Take my picture." That's a very cute hat Svea and it looks great on you!! :)

Next picture: So here's Teacher Assistant Svea handling a situation!! Cal and Miles were squabbling and Cal started pinching Miles so Svea was giving him the lecture. Ha. Following picture: Did I mention that she's my assistant!?! She had the boys sitting and ready for their waters. I was gonna get the waters, but she wanted to do it herself. Thanks for helping Svea!!

Miles was snuggling with me on the couch and we were doing selfies. Svea joined us and wanted to do a selfie of her own. Ha. She loves doing this to Lauralea because of Lauralea's reaction to it. :) Last picture; Svea did all the work setting up the blocks the way she wanted them and preparing the beds. She said, "We're having a sleepover at the Princess' House. :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
