Svea - 11/01/2021

Svea ate cheerios and no banana for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef covered with avocado, bites of whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, and strawberries. 

I'm gonna use some pictures I have left over from Friday afternoon. First picture: This was during Nap Time for the boys and Svea came over where I was doing Blogs and said, "Hey Gary! Look! You wanna take a picture?" Well of course! Second picture: This picture was taken shortly after the boys woke up and they'd both taken off their pajamas. First, Svea was cheering and yelling, "Go Griz" while the boys ran in circles and pretended to play soccer. "Kick the ball! Kick the ball!" Then Svea joined the game and said, "I am the Unicorn Team." Haha. Cal said, "I am the Bronco." Svea said, "Miles is the Steeler." :) (And she came up with that on her own!!) Third picture: Not much to say about the food velcro stuck on Cal's diaper other than the fact he didn't know it was there and it was making Svea laugh hard. Haha.

Here is some conversation I heard in a funny exchange between Svea and Cal. 
Svea said, "Ok Cal, sit down and talk about your feelings. (I about tipped over from laughing at that one!!)
"What did you do Wednesday?" Cal said, "I don't know." She asked, "Play with Hudson?" What did you do Friday?" Cal said, "I don't know." It sounded like an interrogation and he quickly lost interest talking about his feelings or talking about anything else for that matter!! :)

Next picture: This was very cute!! Svea was hiding around the corner and Miles was "knocking on the door" and then running to the mattress laughing and giggling. Svea would poke her head around the corner and say, "Who's there!?!" Over and over. Last picture; Svea built both of these "boats" and she been building lots of "boats" lately!! Miles was riding on one and right after the picture Svea provided the horsepower for pushing MIles across the floor. Later Cal came by and was taking it apart and he said, "I have to put new batteries in it!!"

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
