Svea - 11/03/2021

Svea said she did not want to eat breakfast. (Toast & Grapes.) For lunch she ate pulled pork, whole wheat tortillas, ate half of her carrots (to get extra servings of fruit), and ate three servings of mixed fruit. (Mangoes & Strawberries.) 

Yesterday at Nap Time I said (basically talking to myself), "I'm gonna figure out a different way to get Miles out of his crib." Svea knew exactly what I was referring to. She said, "That's because you got a rib." Haha. Yup and a very sore one of those!! :)

First picture - Svea had buried herself under the pillows, animals, and blankets. You can see her hand sticking out above the "G" on the bottom Griz pillow. :) Second picture; As usual Svea had the food all arranged in a particular way and she also has 6 little flip phones lined up. She told Cal, "I ordered you a phone!" Haha. She calls him "Callie" every day and I've never heard him object to it. Then today she yelled at him; "Callie!! Don't knock over my stuff!!" Cal said, "I'm not Callie!!" Svea turned away from him and on her way past me she said, "His name is Cal." LOL! Kind of like she was reminding herself. However, moments later it was right back to, "Callie!! Callie!!"

Next picture: Svea had the binoculars and was looking at the boys. Actually she was looking at Miles and Cal moved right into position! Ha. Following picture; The kids were playing in front of the mirror and you can see Cal laying on the floor. Svea was passing out the food and Cal said, "Turn the TV on. The Broncos and the Griz are playing." Svea said, "Well let's go!!" Then she added, "I'm on the Unicorn Team!" Haha. Last picture: Svea and Cal were looking in Miles' eye for the longest time and two or three times were kind of poking at it!! I finally asked them; "What are you guys doing to Miles' eye?" Svea said, "He's got a sparkle in his eye and we're trying to get it out!" Geez!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
