Svea - 11/04/2021

Svea ate blueberry bagel and ate peaches for breakfast. For lunch she looked at the hamburger & sausage pizza, with the meats, olives, peppers, tomato sauce, and pineapple. She looked at the whole wheat pizza crust on the side and pineapple on the side. "Gary I don't wanna eat." Ok, snack will be at 3:15. :)

After breakfast Svea said, "Gary, I want to do a folder." "Huh, what?!?" She said, "I want to color a folder." So I have to start quizzing her to figure out what the heck she's talking about. "Have you ever colored a folder here before!?" "Yes." Boy this was a head-scratcher, but I finally got it!! She wanted to color a "filter." As in coffee filter!! Got it!! :)

First picture: Right after breakfast Svea was very busy preparing and arranging the food. Miles saw her doing that and starting saying, "eat eat eat eat." Svea said, "MILES!! We are NOT eating yet!" LOL! She works on her own schedule and you don't mess with the cook!!

Next picture; they were listening to Alexa play the "Goldfish Song" again and doing the actions!! (Taking a nap at the bottom of the ocean.) Following picture: "Hey Gary! Look at Miles!" Yup, you've got him covered up again! :) Third picture: Svea and Miles doing some Art. Svea was looking for a particular marker, found it, and asked Miles; "Hey Miles, can I borrow this for a second." Haha. Then she was cutting out hearts and told Miles, "I'm sorry. The picture is ruined."  :)

Last picture: Cal arrived about 10:30 and shortly after they were doing this ritual on the mattress. Dancing and trotting around Miles. I don't think it was anything spiritual, but it looked like they were trying to raise him up!! Haha. Sorry, just humoring myself again!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
