Svea - 11/16/2021

Ok this is kind of different, but Svea said, "I don't wanna eat at both meals." It was easy to tell by her voice and her posture that she was serious. No blueberry bagel and no grapes for breakfast. At lunch: No shrimp, brown rice, broccoli, or mixed berries. 

Miles joined Svea at the window to wave bye to Momma Molly and he kept saying, "My Mom, my Mom, my Mom." He was doing that just to get a reaction from Svea and boy was it ever working!! Haha! The little Turkey. She was about ready to wring his neck. I don't know if she ever did wave at Mommy because she was too busy reacting to Miles.

I have lots of pictures today including four from yesterday, but I didn't want to delete any so here they are. Svea was at the alphabet poster and I was listening to what she was saying as she moved from letter to letter. She was talking to herself and counting the "sides" of each letter. "This one has three sides." I've never heard any child do that and I thought it was interesting.

Outside pictures with Miles from yesterday. The kids stepped on two of those large "stink bugs" so if you smelled something yucky on the way home that might have been it. :) Second picture: You have to look close to see Svea's face with the hair hanging down!! Ha. Third picture: Miles was behind Svea in the airplane saying, "Home home home." Svea finally said, "We ARE going home!!" :) 

Here are some pictures from Svea's morning. She build this "room" with the blocks and it included a "hot tub." (Her words.) Following two pictures: Cal asked to do Preschool Activities and Svea was following him around making sure he did them the "right" way. :) Thank you Svea.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
