Svea - 11/23/2021

Svea ate her waffle serving and no grapes. For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, ate corn, and none of her apple slices. 

These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon. Svea and Cal were stringing beads and then using tape measures to measure the string. Svea said, "I measuring this and it's 7 inches long." Second picture: Svea surprised the heck out of me when she said I could put a ponytail in her hair. And she asked for 2 ponies. As you know that rarely happens, but I still ask occasionally!!

This next picture is also left over from yesterday afternoon when Svea and Cal were the only ones here. I asked Svea why she had on the beautiful head-covering. :) She said, "I'm in a wedding." Oh really,,.and who's getting married? Svea said, "Me. I'm marrying Cal and he's marrying me." Ha. Well I'm certainly glad to hear it's reciprocal. Later Svea was still gathering up goods for their happy home and she said, "Hey Cal! I got a new baby from the baby store!!" LOL. That made me laugh! She cracks me up.

Here are two more pictures from activities from our morning. Cal was using the "drill" and Svea asked if she could join him. They were screwing bolts in and out of the white board. Last picture; Hiding eggs. Svea hides the eggs and then is a bit too specific in giving hints!! Haha. Example: "They might be under my blanket. Lift it up and see." Haha.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
