Svea - 11/29/2021

Svea ate two servings of Cheerios and two bites of her banana serving for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef covered with avocado, ate most of her whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, and strawberries. At Lunch - while putting olives on all her fingers - Svea said, "Remember when we used to put olives on our fingers?" Uhhh, yes like two weeks ago - the last time we had olives!!?!! :) Also at Lunch Svea randomly said, "Target Range Tigers!!" Why did you say that? "Because I just really love Atley." So sweet.

Svea frequently phrases her sentences in unique ways - all children do, but her's are just so cute!! She said Cal wasn't being nice to Miles and she phrased it like this, "He wasn't being nice to Miles. And we need to be friendship! That's what we do." Love it. Yes that's what we do!! So in this first picture Alexa was playing, "We wish you a Merry Christmas!!" (Cheers! It's never too early!!) Svea got all excited and said, "I'm going to fix a dinner and you guys sing!!" :)

I included this next picture because - Cal was initially doing the activity and Svea walked up and asked, "Cal, can I join you?" Perfect! Well done Svea; just the way we have been practicing. (Svea is looking at the colors through the holes.) And then in the following picture the kids wanted to do some "dot painting" and Miles wasn't about to continue until he had his paint shirt on!! While the kids were painting Svea was talking about her Birthday Party. She said, "My Birthday is gonna be at the Carousel." To me she said, "You can come." Then she said, "Cal do you want to come?" "Yes." "Miles do you want to come?" "Yes." Cal said, "I think my Mom's gonna say no." Oh that's sad. Haha.

The kids had a great morning - especially considering the long weekend!! We stayed busy with lots of activities!! And that works! Next picture: We even got a start on Christmas decorating; we plugged this guy into the socket!! Haha. Middle picture: Svea called this her "skating track" and just setting it up a bit different is all it takes to keep them busy for awhile. :) Last picture: Svea standing on her head. She said, "Cal, I used to do this with Nora." :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
