Svea - 12/06/2021

Svea ate bites of corn chex cereal and bites peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate two servings of ground beef topped with avocado, ate toasted whole wheat sandwich thin, ate tomatoes, and two servings of mandarin oranges. 

First thing this morning Svea made me laugh hard!! She was sucking her thumb and fiddling with her panties like she always does. She said, "Somebody didn't know I already got panties." Haha. So I checked and sure enough she had on 2 pairs of panties. So of course I asked, "Who put your panties on you this morning?" She pointed at herself and said, "I did." Which made her statement even funnier. :)

First picture - Svea had the boys examining her painted fingernails and painted toenails. As you can see they were interested! In the second picture Svea had moved some barn animals in the barn and was closing the door. She said, "I need to close these because a storm is coming." 

Next picture; I asked Lauralea to take this picture and here's what it's all about. Friday evening I got a front tooth extracted and replaced with a temporary tooth and partial plate. So this is a "Show & Tell" session about my tooth. I don't think anyone was too traumatized - except Cal does look to be in pain while watching the process. :) Svea giggled when she saw the gap in my mouth. 

First picture; Svea balanced the fruit on the watermelon half. Good job Svea. Avi always liked (and she still does) doing the balancing activities too. Middle picture: The boys were busy drawing and coloring with markers and Svea was busy cutting out hearts she'd asked me to draw. Last picture; Svea had a lid on the bowl and wanted to surprise the boys when she took the lid off. What's in there? Vegetables; green beans, carrots, and peas. Ha.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
