Svea - 12/07/2021

Svea ate whole wheat English muffin and ate a few grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of her pork roast, ate whole wheat toast, ate most of her beets, and a bite of applesauce.

This week Svea has been quizzing me about "opposites." (And talking about rhyming words.) Today she asked if "Gone" and "Here" are opposites. Wow, I thought that was a pretty good question!
Here's a random statement from Svea this morning; "I don't want to be in School. I want to be in Ballet." Oh really? She continued, "Mama said only one pick, so I pick Ballet." :)

First picture: Svea waiting for me to read some books and we've been doing lots of Christmas books. She's holding one of her favorites: "The Twelve Days of Christmas." She sings most of the song with me and finishes most of the verses. Today she was occasionally singing some silly words and here are a couple examples. Third day of Christmas is "Three French Hens." She said, "Three French Chickens." Then later replaced "Five Gold Rings" with "Five Golden Chickens." I was laughing hard and of course she LOVED making me laugh. Little Cutie.

Next picture: Svea was kind of dinking around on the hardwood floor with her socks on and I warned her about it being slippery. About that time "Thump!" It sounded to me like she hit hard. She said, "Gary that didn't hurt because I have on my leggings!" Haha.

Next picture: The kids were running in circles using the step as part of their track. And they did it for a long time. Svea and Cal would occasionally lap Miles, but he didn't care or maybe he didn't even notice. Ha. You never know with this age group. Sometimes they see everything and miss nothing. Sometimes, well it's just the opposite. Last picture: Svea built with the legos for at least 30 minutes. I took this picture when she was just getting started and she told me the top legos in the picture said, "The Store is closed and will open later." Ha. I love her creativity.
