Svea - 12/09/2021

Svea wanted no waffle, but ate two large servings of strawberry/mango for breakfast. For lunch she ate two servings of ground turkey, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of sweet potatoes, and ate cherries. I was glad to see her eat that much meat! 

I've mentioned it before, but I love how Svea expresses herself. We were doing books and initially she didn't want to sing. (Which was just fine!) She said, "I wanna suck; I don't wanna sing!" LOL! Then Miles started singing with me and well let's just say she forgot all about her thumb!! 
Svea said, "Gary!! Cal said RUDE to Miles!" (Ha.) Cal denied that one; "No I didn't!" Svea; "Yes you did! I heard you!!" Cal was most likely correct; he probably acted rude; not saying rude. Ha. 

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Nora was here. It was nice for Svea to have Nora all to herself and they had lots of fun at the Doll House. Nora examined it closely and said, "Did you decorate this!?" Svea said, "Yes." Nora said, "Good job." Second picture; If I sit beside the mirror I can get some pretty good pictures of our pretty girl!!

Next picture: Cal was telling Svea what he wanted her to build with the legos. "I want a shooter and a hitter!!" Svea said, "I don't know how to make those with legos." However I noticed she managed to make what she wanted. Haha. "Look at my hand sanitizer!!" Haha. (Stinking Covid!!) Second picture: Svea said she was making a "cave." She told Cal, "I need some help here!!" Cal said, "I'm working here!!" Ha. Last picture: Svea got the "cave" completed all by herself! You can see 3 sets of legs in there. :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
