Svea - 12/13/2021

Svea ate bran cereal and no raisins for breakfast. For lunch she ate two servings of chicken covered with two servings of avocado, ate whole wheat pita bread, ate cucumber, and bites of pears.

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon, but I could have easily taken a similar one this morning. Ha. And she said the same thing today as she was saying on Friday; "I see two Gary's." Silly girl. She has a good teacher with this as you know Avi is an expert. :)

Next picture: We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and sure enough Svea went right for the food toys. How many months has she been doing this exact same thing!?! She loves to organize the food and she's always planning for an "event!" When she was done getting this food set up she said, "Cal, you have one minute until the Festival comes!!" :) So cute.

Here are a couple pictures from the Preschool Room playing with and near Cal. Cal was sorting colors using the "pinchers" to pick them up. (Helps with dexterity development.) Svea was keeping an eye on Cal's progress, but mostly she was busy at work with the little legos; especially putting together little people. And (speaking of dexterity) they have the tiniest pieces!! Last picture: Svea and Cal were at the Doll House and both of them were excited to see all the different accessories in the bin.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
