Svea - 12/14/2021
Svea ate blueberry bagel and ate several grapes for breakfast. She did not want to try any lunch: shrimp, brown rice, broccoli, and mixed berries.
Svea stayed busy all morning; most of the time doing activities in the Preschool Room. In the first picture she was working on a Gingerbread House (at least that's what I think it is) she brought from home. In the second picture she moved on to balancing cargo on the pirate ship. This is actually a pretty challenging balance activity. And a new one that I'll have to show to Avi because she likes those.
Next picture: Svea plays this next game the same way Avi, Atley, and Nora always played it; from point-blank range!! Ha. The game has a voice that tells you if you're successful or not and you're supposed to throw the "bone" to the right dog. (The color lights up.) It says, "Throw the dog a bone." Following picture: I helped Svea get started with the puzzle for a few minutes and then she wanted to finish it by herself. Good work Svea.
Last picture: Miles was sorting strawberries back-n-forth from cup to bowl, cup to bowl, over and over. Svea came along and wanted the strawberries, of course, and so Miles willingly gave them up. I watched closely on the follow-up to this exchange and he was fine with giving them up. Sometimes that age will hand it off, but not realize it's not coming back very soon. You're a sweet boy Miles and that was a sweet gesture to your friend Svea.
