Svea - 12/28/2021

Svea ate bites of blueberry waffle and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of chicken, ate whole wheat tortilla, corn, and a bite of applesauce. First picture; I took this at breakfast and it was fun to listen to the kids! (Nora and Miles will be back on Thursday.) They were watching the pictures on the digital frame and basically reminiscing. There were pictures of me feeding Callahan with a bottle, first time Svea sat upright, a very young Atley, and a very young Avi. Lots of laughing, giggling, and talking about each picture. Again, this was lots of fun for me as well! 

We had a visitor this morning as our furnace maintenance guy was here for the yearly checkup. Cal was fine with that - from a distance. Ha. Next picture; Atley is reading to Svea and Cal while they are waiting for Avilene to hide the eggs. Ha. I wonder how many times they've hidden those eggs!?! :) The two little ones were happy to see Atley - she was here 1 day in November - and it was nice of her to read to them.

Last picture; The kids were doing some touchup on the "Fairy House." Or as Gary calls it; "The Outhouse." Ha. I noticed the kids were saying that as well! You're welcome. :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
