Svea - 01/03/2022

Svea ate Cheerios and no bananas for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef topped with a large serving of avocado, ate whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, and two servings of mandarin oranges. Here's two of my answers to Svea at Lunch Time; "Yes, olives grow on olive trees. No, pita bread does not grow on pita bread trees." :)

Happy New Year Everyone!! It was a fun morning and actually not much like a typical Monday at all. The kids were excited and played together with very minimal conflict. I love these kind of days!! Ha. Svea didn't have any kind of hangover from her party yesterday and that was awesome! In the first picture Svea took some of her toys to the Doll House so she and Cal could play with those. In the second picture we introduced Cal to one of our "Matching Games" and that lasted for only a few minutes. "I don't want to play anymore." :) So I finished the game with Svea and she got lots of matches and did well. She's so dramatic and it makes me laugh! She got a match and was slowly twirling and enjoying the magical moment. Haha. Third picture: Playing the "Avalanche" game by herself. She really doesn't care if she does it alone or with someone. She's just creative in how she plays it!! :)

Next picture: I stopped to take a picture of the kids waiting for me to do Story Time. Love these kids!! Last picture: Svea was laying there sucking her thumb and Miles took the opportunity to gently pat and rub her head. It was so precious. I asked him to do it again so I could take the picture and he took it to the next level and was eventually poking at her eye. She was fine with it. :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
