Svea - 01/06/2022

Svea chose not to eat blueberry bagel and peaches for breakfast. For lunch she made the same decision: No hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, olives, pineapple, peppers, and tomato sauce. No whole wheat pizza crust and pineapple on the side.

I thought Svea had said the word "pharmacy," but I had misunderstood her. I still asked, "What's a pharmacy?" She didn't know, but she gave the most logical guess!! "A place where animals live." It took me a second to think of; "farm-a-see." Perfect and so logical. Nice guess Svea. How cute is that!?

First picture: Svea asked if she could hide the eggs. I've kept the eggs available since last Easter and it's amazing how often the kids have asked for them. The big girls and Svea played with them SO much and now Svea has the boys involved as well. I like how she has her hand on her hip keeping a close eye on their progress and she frequently gives them enormously easy hints! Haha. Second picture: They don't need too many hints when Cal "hides" the eggs. Fifty percent of the eggs right there!! Haha.

Next picture: Svea was busy while the boys were eating breakfast and built this house with the blocks. She's on the toy shelf and she said, "This is my bedroom and (pointing at Cal) that's Cal's bedroom." Later Miles joined in the fun (after I expanded Cal's bedroom so Miles had a bed too) and Svea said, "Calm Down!! When your Mother says it's time to go to sleep it's time to go to sleep!!" LOL

Last picture: Svea worked hard to set up all the food and arrangements while Cal was basically an observer during this part, but he does contribute his thoughts and ideas as the play progresses. What are you guys doing? Svea said, "Setting up our tea party; and the wolf is trying to eat us." They were so involved in this for at least 40 minutes. Earlier, during the initial set-up Cal said, "I impressed with you Vay Vay." That was SO cute.
