Svea - 01/31/2022

Svea ate a large serving of cheerios and a few bites of banana for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef topped with avocado, whole wheat pita bread, olives, and a large serving of peaches.

First picture; We did a toy exchange this weekend and Svea and Cal were wearing some dress-up clothes. Svea kept that dress and those shoes on all morning. Cal (and Miles) were super excited to have Svea back today. The first thing Cal said when he came through the door this morning; "Vay Vay coming!?!"

Next picture; Well Svea is back so things are gonna be a little more organized than last week!! Haha. She has all the food laid out in a certain order and sternly lets the boys know to NOT mess with it until she gives some mysterious unknown signal. Ha. Svea said, "We are going on a camping adventure!" I said, "Well that's a great plan." Svea said, "Yes, I thought it in my head." :) The following picture shows another aspect of Svea organizing the toys. 

Last picture: All three kids at the Doll House. Svea was happy to see the big pink car in this toy exchange. She said, "I didn't know the pink car would be out. I was thinking about it all night." Haha. So cute. Well I'm glad you're excited to have it out. Cal and Miles were having fun with the car too.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
