Svea - 02/09/2022

Svea chose not to eat French toast or strawberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate several bites of her serving of Whole 30 Chili with meat, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, peppers, and lots of spices. She ate her whole wheat dinner roll and ate her mangoes. Svea especially liked the sweet potatoes in the chili and picked those out to eat.

Cal said, "Gary, it's a USPA Truck!!" :) "Well that was an excellent try and very close. If you'd drop one letter and then rearrange the reminding three letters you might come up with UPS." Haha. Svea has called it "USP." At least they have all the letters they need!!

Next two pictures: Svea had gotten out the Log Homes building project and she's studying one of the illustrations. Cal walked up and asked if he could join her. (They are doing really well at asking to join instead of just assuming they they can join without asking!!) She asked Cal, "Can you look for this one!?!" He played with her for several minutes before moving on to something else.

Next picture: Svea is working with some legos and Nicole joined her for a few minutes. Cal had been there earlier and Miles stopped by to watch. Cal didn't think Miles was "Old" enough to join their more mature group! But he got the wording backwards: Cal said, "You'e too old for this Miles!" LOL! Whatever Cal! Last picture: Well it was a challenging morning when Svea arrived. She eventually pulled herself together and then snuggled to fill up her love tank. I always tell her: "Svea that's not who you really are. I know you are a sweet beautiful Svea and not that screaming girl!!"

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
