Svea - 02/14/2022

Svea ate bran cereal and no raisins for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken topped with avocado, ate whole wheat pita bread, ate cucumber, and no pears. At breakfast Svea was telling me a very lengthy story about watching the Movie about "Rapunzel" and I basically understood none of it except that her hair changed colors when she sang. And thankfully that was enough to convince Svea I was listening! :) Svea was happy to hear that "Rapunzel" was always one of Lauralea's favorites. :)

First picture: We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange and Svea was playing with the Mr Potato Head. Well actually She and Cal were both playing with them, except Cal took off and that's what Svea is yelling about in the picture; "Cal! Come back and help me pick these up!!" :) Following picture: Svea is working on one of the puzzles.

Next picture; I had to run for a very quick appointment this morning and Lauralea covered for me for about 30 minutes. I took this picture when I returned as Lauralea was watching Svea do one of the Preschool Activities. Last picture: Different Food Toys for Svea in this set! But the same activity!! :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
