Svea - 02/22/2022

Happy Tuesday! Or as us Numbers People call it: "2's Day!!" 02/22/2022. Ok, I know! I know that's lame, but I still like it!! :) (I knew I'd eventually find something on Facebook worth reposting!!)
Svea ate two servings of waffle and ate her grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of chicken, no whole wheat tortilla, bites of corn, and no apples slices.

First two pictures: One of the Preschool rules is to use the activities appropriately. However, ya gotta make exceptions at times, right!?! Look at Svea's feet in case you missed what she's doing here. :) When you are a Princess you sometimes get to bend the rules. Ha. Well she didn't crash, didn't hurt her feet, and didn't hurt the cups so I guess it all ended well. Second picture: And here she's using the activity appropriately. :)

Next picture; Svea was reading to Cal and Miles was reading his own book and occasionally taking a peek at their book too. :) Following picture: Svea had lots of food laid out for their lunch. Cal was cooperating with her for the most part, but occasionally he'd do something to disrupt her plan. Ha. He just couldn't help himself. Ha! (It wasn't just Cal - Miles had been infected by the same disruptive virus.) 

Last picture; Posted with Permission!! :) We have a Baby Girl in the house. All the kids were dying to get their hands on the Baby, but they totally accepted the fact that this was a "hands-off" experience. :) We can just look and admire her. This is a wonderfully easy baby to have around for a few days or weeks. Not exactly sure how long they'll be here, but for a little while longer.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
