Svea - 02/24/2022

Svea ate toasted & buttered whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, bites of peas, and ate her applesauce.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon. Svea yelled for me to come look what they were doing. "Gary!! You gotta come quick!! There's something REALLY BIG over here!!" (I like the "come quick" part. Ha.) They'd built the duplos in a single line from the wall to the mattress. That really does take a lot of pieces to go across there. :) All three contributed to their project.

Second picture: Miles is having fun doing puzzles right after breakfast. Svea was still sitting at the table eating and watching him. She finally said, in a very authoritative voice, "Miles, if you would do the puzzle in order it would be SOOOO much better!" LOL! So funny. Here's the back story. The pieces fit fairly snug, but he's finished it his way many many times. Lauralea had told Svea a few days ago; "If you would do the puzzle in order it would be much easier." Svea had her own interpretation! :)

After Story Time I was pretending Svea was a "baby" and calling her "baby." After a few minutes of that she wasn't ready to stop, "Can you keep calling me Baby. Keep calling me Baby." :) Next picture: She had her tiara balanced on her spatula and was walking across the floor watching herself in the mirror. :) Last picture: Shortly before Lunch Time Svea was leading the pack - Svea, Nicole, and Cal - and she was chanting, "Follow the Leader, Follow the Leader, Follow the Leader."

For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
