Svea - 03/03/2022

Svea chose to not eat breakfast: blueberry bagel and peaches. For lunch she ate bites of Hamburger & Sausage Pizza with meat, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce. She ate bites of whole wheat pizza crust (which we serve on the side), and no pineapple.

Funny note from this morning: Before Lunch Cal was being a little skunk - actually a big skunk in Svea's estimation - anyhow she was reading him the Riot Act and giving him a stern lecture with authority. My favorite part of the lecture was when she said, "Cal! You are acting just like Miles!!" LOL!! That was SO funny! And she was SO serious which made it even funnier.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Avi was making a "bridge" for the kids to go under. Svea got directly under Avi and then was pushing up as hard as she could with her head. Ha. Miles was going back and forth under Avi while Callahan appears to be taking aim at Avi's butt with the drill/gun! Haha. Avi was enjoying the challenge of staying in position!

Next picture: Svea set up her ice cream toys she brought from home just as soon as she arrived this morning. Cal grew tired of the arranging and rearranging and arranging some more!! He said, "WHEN are we gonna eat?!?" Haha. The planning and the processing is most important to Svea!!

Next picture: Later in the morning Svea doing some more with her food arrangements. She has a hot dog in her right hand and she has to lay it very straight with the world. :) And nobody better mess with it!! Ha. Last picture: She said, "I remember when I used to do this!" And she'd jump and throw her dress up at the same time. She loved looking at the pictures I was taking!!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
