Svea - 03/07/2022

Svea chose not to eat breakfast; corn chex and peaches. For lunch she ate three servings of ground beef topped with avocado, ate whole wheat sandwich thin, tomatoes, and two servings of mandarin oranges.

Cal and Miles were singing "They all rolled over" and it went something like this; "Two in bed and the little one said, roll over. They all rolled over and one fell out. There were two (still - ha) in the bed...." Svea finally had to intervene!! (After about the 15th time singing it that way!) She said, "CAL!! After two there's only one left in the bed!!" LOL!! So funny! Moments later she started offering corrections while Cal was singing the ABC song. That was going too far!! Cal bellowed, "I know this song!!" Hahaha.

I was brushing Svea's hair while she was doing the play dough activity. She said, "My Mom went back to Canada." Haha. Oh really? :) 

First picture: This is what Svea did while the boys ate breakfast. Ha. Actually she only stayed there for a couple of minutes and started playing at the Doll House. Second picture: As soon as breakfast was over they asked for the Play Dough and they had lots of fun using rollers, cookie cutters, and other play dough accessories. Svea was making numbers and you can see the number 8 beside her left hand.

More activities in the Preschool Room. Svea was stringing these beads and Cal was patiently waiting to join her!! She finally gave her permission!! Haha. Last picture: She and Cal were doing a Preschool Activity that helps them learn to identify numbers. With a young Daddy Andy keeping a watchful eye on them. :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
