Svea - 03/08/2022

Svea ate half of toasted whole wheat English muffin and half of her grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate no pork roast, ate whole wheat toast, half of beets, and bites of applesauce. 

The kids spotted someone walking their dog and sprinted to the window to first pound on the window to get their attention and then wave. When they were done Svea said, "Gary! The good guy was here!!" So cute. Here's the back story: This man lives on Rainbow Drive and frequently walks his dog. It's obvious the man has some physical limits and always looks kind of sad so I've made a point of having the kids always greet him. (His daughter told me he really likes it.) It always brings a smile to his face. Thanks kids for bringing some cheer to his day. Side note: I was telling Lauralea about the "old guy" and Lauralea said, "I think he's younger than you." LOL!! He probably is. 

First picture: Coming out of the fort head-first. :) Second picture; Svea doing one of her perfect stiff body backward flops onto the mattress as Miles watches. Well done Svea. 

Next picture: Svea was arranging food in her usual fancy way. :) Svea also had her own agenda for the boys and gave them their schedule for the following hour. Haha. She said, "Ok, you have 40 minutes to butt bomb, then we're gonna have dinner, and then we go to bed." The boys smartly said "ok" and kept on playing. :) Following picture: These two said they were "taking a nap" and after several attempts I actually got a picture of them with both "sleeping." Haha. Svea had a pretty elaborate bed laid out and made Cal sleep on the couch. Haha.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
