Svea - 04/04/2022
Svea ate Cheerios and no banana for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef topped with avocado, whole wheat pita bread, olives, and two large servings of strawberries.
I already shared some of this information with Parents, but we had the best time on the Upper Oregon coast last week and thank you all for allowing us to do that. We learned lots about digging Clams, and I walked many trails learning about where Lewis & Clark spent the winter before their return trip. I learned some Maritime history about the area as well as some Military history. (All are favorite subjects of mine!)
First picture: At breakfast Svea randomly said, "Gary, don't make me smile when I'm eating." Ha. (I wasn't aware I was doing anything!! Haha.) Earlier I'd told Lauralea that "Svea painted her doll's face." Svea said, "No, I colored it." Ha.
We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange yesterday and Svea said, "Gary, I think this is my favorite toy exchange because it has ice cream." (Side note: I had to go look again because there is no ice cream in this toy exchange!! Haha.)
Next picture: Svea was showing me proper etiquette for drinking tea. Haha. Look at her pinky - on BOTH hands. Ha. She said, "This is how you drink tea with your pinky out." Following picture: Svea said, "Gary, this is a performance picnic. When you get tired of dancing you can pick one of the food up." :)
Last picture; I'm calling this a "Portrait of a Modern Couple." Ha. Why talk directly when you have your phone handy!?! At least they're NOT texting!! :)
