Svea - 04/06/2022

Svea ate most of her whole wheat toast and ate a large serving of Grapes for breakfast. For Lunch she ate no pork roast, ate whole wheat tortillas, ate carrots and mangoes/strawberries.

First picture: This was immediately after breakfast and Svea joined Cal doing some puzzles. Actually he'd earlier chosen a difficult puzzle and of course she went and rescued him!! (Even though I was trying to get him to keep trying to find a piece that fit!)

Next picture: Svea was planning a basketball game and she said, "Gary, I'm pretending to go to a basketball game and I have to warm up!!" Shortly afterward the boys were laughing and running around and around in circles too. There was actually another Story happening behind this Story, but it was one of those "You had to be There" to fully enjoy it. Basically Svea was planning a Picnic and some kind of elaborate Activity, but the Boys were pretty oblivious to her MANY questions she was asking. They just kept running and occasionally Cal would grunt "ok" and that satisfied her. (You can make up your own commentary here. Ha!) Second picture; Eventually Svea temporarily gave up on the Picnic idea and joined the boys in their rowdiness. It was very cute because they were all holding hands jumping off the balance beam.

Last Picture; This Girl dances to the beat of her own drum. And I love it. She dances, twirls, spins, and moves across the room with this dreamy look on her face. She's definitely feeling it in her soul.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
