Svea - 04/14/2022

Svea ate no waffle and ate a large serving of mango/strawberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground turkey, whole wheat tortilla, ate sweet potatoes, and two servings of cherries.

First picture: Svea was doing a Preschool Activity using the dry erase markers. On this particular page you had to circle the groups with the "smallest" amount of items. Svea was explaining it to Cal: " Circle the few." Haha. Nice job Svea; not sure he quite got that, but it was a good attempt. Later I reminded Cal he needed to put away a Preschool activity before moving on. Svea said, "I always put stuff away." And she does HERE! After a few seconds thinking about her statement she said, "Especially at Gary's." Ha.

Next picture: This was really cute and sweet. Svea was singing into her microphone and Cal was her focus. "Merry Christmas Callahan, Merry Christmas Callahan, Merry Christmas Callahan...." She was using the most sweet and softest voice. So cute. She was into the performance part and not how he was receiving her song. He was dinking around on the couch and she didn't care or notice. Ha.

Next picture: Svea said, "I'm pretending there's a new Holiday and I'm getting all my Family for the Holiday." Then she added; "And I'm preparing a Picnic." Last picture: The kids have been asking to do some Dot Painting and we finally remembered at the right time. Svea was telling elaborate stories about her Unicorn that she's dot painting; it's name and all it's special qualities. Ha. The boys be like; "Could we just dot paint?" :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
