Svea - 04/22/2022

Svea ate Cheerios and no applesauce for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of her ground beef, most of her whole wheat dinner roll, no green beans, ate most of her fruit cocktail. During Lunch Svea was dinking around and making Miles laugh. I finally told her that was plenty and they needed to eat. Of course she did it again and Miles roared. THEN he tattled on her. That made me laugh; so then we're all laughing! :)

Here's a picture of Avi, not Svea, left over from yesterday afternoon that I found highly amusing and adorable. Adorable because Avi loves Miles and shows him WAY more patience than she shows anyone else around here!! Ha. So she decided he needed to learn to play Tic-Tac-Toe. The amusing part was watching Miles spend way more time putting the circles (rings) on his fingers. Haha. Then he heard a helicopter - he yelled, "helicopter" - and sprinted for the window. Avi's reaction was so cute; She rolled her eyes and said, "Miles!!" But she was still smiling. Second picture: Svea was done with breakfast first and got under Miles' highchair which always makes him giggle. She was grabbing his ankles and legs. :)

Last two pictures: We went to Fresh Market and then stopped by "Three Hills" on the way home. Someone had put lot of rocks on the grates leading to the drain system and the kids were quizzing me about that. They spent most of their time sifting through lots of rocks. Ha. Last picture: Waving bye to the well known landmark: "Three Hills." :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
