Svea - 04/28/2022

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, ate most of her peas, and half of her applesauce.

First picture: I took this shortly after arrival and she's trying to talk to us, but it's hard when she's so impressed with what she's seeing in the mirror. Haha. SO cute. I love this kid!! She makes me laugh a lot. Second picture: Svea usually washes in the bathroom now, but will also opt for the kitchen. However, she's getting SO big for the kitchen sink. Haha. She said, "I'm just too big for this; I can't even reach the water!!" (Meaning; she's gonna have to bend DOWN to reach the water.)

Next picture: Svea was showing Cal the goodies she brought from home today and this microscope was a special one. Svea said, "I have something in here that can talk to you Cal." And sure enough, it could.

Next picture: We had fun outside this morning. When I took this picture Cal was explaining the reason he wasn't available to go on a ride with the other two; Holding up the tennis ball he said, "I'm heading to my lesson." So Svea told Miles; "After Cal's lesson we're going to Florida." So then she started asking Cal, "Do you want to go on our Florida ride Cal!?!" Svea told him to "ask his teacher." Last picture: Initially Miles was the driver, but he couldn't maneuver past the post so Svea finally said, "The Queen can pull." Hahaha. So she was pulling for a couple minutes, but they finally just gave up and walked to Florida. :) Svea said, "We can walk."

First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
