Svea - 05/05/2022

So far Svea has chosen Not to eat anything. Blueberry bagel and peaches for breakfast. Hamburger & Sausage pizza, with meat, peppers, pineapple, olives, and tomato sauce. Whole wheat pizza crust (on the side) and pineapple for Lunch. So I'm betting she inhales some cheerios at snack time!!

First picture from yesterday afternoon. I'm always impressed with how well Svea entertains herself while the boys are napping and I'm work on these Blogs! Here's an example from yesterday. She worked hard on these Mr Potato Heads for a LONG time. She'd bring them over to me to show the final result, but not to stop and talk. Good work Svea. Very impressive.

Next picture: So remember the Potato Heads from yesterday? Haha. Svea chose not to eat breakfast, but she managed to provide some Breakfast entertainment for the boys. Most of these were still intact from yesterday and she had to explain each one to the boys. And introduce each one to the boys as well. She said her favorite is "Party Girl." Ha.

Next picture: Hey, when you have extra accessories from the Potato Heads you gotta make use of them. There is a picture of Cal doing the same thing that I think is even more hilarious. Last picture: I didn't realize Svea had brought some morning snacks again. They were on her Cubby of course, but she said, "Well! What'd you do with them!?!" Haha. So in the picture Svea and Miles are feeding Miles' Pterodactyl the leftover crumbs. Ha.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
