Svea - 05/26/2022

Svea ate whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, bites of whole wheat elbow noodles, most of her peas, and bites of applesauce. Breakfast conversation: Svea randomly asked, "Hey Gary, How much money does it cost to buy a house?" "In Missoula, minimum half a million. Why, are you in the market for a house?" Haha. She got a silly grin and said, "no."

So today it's just Svea and Miles until Nora and Avi arrive. I'm posting this first picture leftover from yesterday afternoon. I asked Svea what she was drawing and I loved her immediate answer; "Octopus with a party hat." Haha. Second picture: Svea decided to teach Miles how to play "Tic-Tac-Toe." They'd fill it up with X's & O's and she'd bring it to me and ask; "Did anyone win!?!" LOL.

4 Pictures: Miles asked if we could go on a walk. I said, "yes." He was very very excited and asked, "Back to the River!?!" Haha. Sure, we can go back to the river. He asked, "Can we throw rocks in the river!?!" Yup, we can throw rocks in the river. First picture: On the way was a man with three little puppies that let the kids pet them. Second picture: You can see the yellow dandelion that Miles threw in the "river" and then they race to the other side to watch it float out. :) Last picture: Middle Schoolers from Meadow Hill came to the "river" to collect what they could find for Science class. They were so kind and sweet to Miles and Svea. The girl in the third picture put a dandelion bouquet in Svea's hair. :)

First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
