Svea - 05/27/2022

Svea ate bites of brown rice and no raisins for breakfast. For lunch she ate salmon, whole wheat dinner roll, bite of cauliflower, and ate mangoes.

First two pictures: Miles and Svea each had an idea how to play with the car ramp; those ideas were wildly different! Haha. However, Svea quickly relented and they used it like a "car ramp." Ha. And they were having lots of fun. They were mimicking a book we read; "20 Trucks stuck in the middle of the Street." (A favorite here.) I was watching them and I didn't even realize what I said until Miles parroted back what he'd heard! He said, "That little sucker goes fast!!" Haha. 

Next picture: There were emergency vehicles at the end of the cul-de-sac this morning. Eventually there were a total of 5 police cars. (It had to do with a bicycle wreck and "maybe" a car involved.) Miles was SO excited to see the Fire Truck. "It's red! It's red! It's red!" Ha. Following picture: On the roly poly search. Actually they'd lost a little roly poly bug. Svea was a bit distressed about that!! "Gary, we lost a baby!" :)

Last picture: Svea asked Miles if he wanted to "have a sleep over." Sure, he was all in favor of that. He went over and plopped down on the mattress! And just that quick we're having a sleep over!! Haha. No no no, we all know that's not how Svea rolls. There's lots of prep work involved and getting all the accessories properly placed!! Haha. So Miles laid there while she did all the work until it met her expectations. :)

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute. Next picture: Svea was at the gate yelling to Avi and Atley (who were in the Preschool Room) and she was saying, "Look at me guys, look at me guys."  Then she started walking across the room...
