Svea - 06/09/2022

Svea ate bite of blueberry waffle and ate fruit salad for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground turkey, whole wheat tortillas, sweet potatoes, and two servings of cherries.

This is about Cal, not Svea, but I thought you might like it:
I moved the changing table to a different corner in the Daycare Room. Cal asked me what I was doing. (The background of this story is the fact that Miles is no longer in diapers. Cheers!! No diaper kids!) I said, "I'm keeping the Changing Table in the room JUST IN CASE HE he has an accident." Cal asked, "Who is Casey?" Huh! What? Then I got it!! Hint: Say "Just in case he" fast. Haha.

First picture is left over from yesterday afternoon. Svea was happy to see that Atley was here and they were having fun at the Doll House. The boys were positioned like Sentinels guarding the place. Ha! Second picture: Nice to have you back today Svea and the boys were happy to see her as well. So here we have the unveiling and disclosure of the goody bag she brought from home.

Next picture; The kids were pretending to go camping. As usual Svea was organizing the campout along with the food and other accessories. Svea said, "We're going Camping!!" Cal said, "If we see any monsters get the flashlight!!" :)  Last picture: Outside sharing the snack crackers that Svea brought. The boys are "feeding the bugs." They were all saying, "Here you go buggy. Here you go buggy."

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
