Svea - 06/16/2022

Svea ate most of her French toast and ate all her dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and two servings of strawberries.

First picture: Atley was looking at this book and Svea was playing the "Bop It" game, but was becoming more interested in the book all the time. (Avi's not seen the Bop It game, but I think she'll love it because it's based on speed.) It's telling you to "pull it" "bop it" or "twist it" and it all happens quickly. And of course, when you're too slow, it taunts you for being a "novice." Svea got a score of 8 which is pretty impressive for her age!!

Next two pictures: Ok, forget the "Bop It" game this is a pretty cool book. This is a "coffee table" book put together and self-published by a friend of mine. It's full of beautiful pictures and descriptions of flora and fauna of the Peace River Valley country of Central Alberta. (Her husband is a pilot so there are lots of pictures taken from above.) Svea saw the picture of the bald eagle landing and said, "Looks like a superhero!!" :)

Here are a couple more pictures from Svea's morning. Playing Slapjack with Atley. As you can see Atley was getting the jump on slapping this Joker, but Svea got her fair share too. Last picture: All the kids have been into the Sand Table lately. Miles insists that it's a "Sand Box." :) And I always forget and call it a Sand Table.
