Svea - 07/06/2022

Svea ate French toast and ate her strawberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of her Whole 30 Chili with meat, tomatoes, peppers, sweet potatoes, and lots of spices. She ate bites of whole wheat dinner roll and ate two servings of mangoes.

It was nice to see the Nelson Girls this morning!! Avi was busy mauling Callahan and Svea was telling me a big story about "getting to ride Big Bill." Well I said, "I hope he was up for the challenge!" Then Avi described who he is. Haha. Svea then spotted Lauralea and had to tell her about big bill too. :) Except this time I was able to explain the details. :) 

First picture: Svea immediately started doing some Art and began with some she brought from home. Second picture: I think this is pretty cute. Avi and Atley are playing "Crazy Eights" and the two littles have paired up with the big kids of their choice. "I'm on Atley's team." "I'm on Avi's team." The big girls are serious about the game while the Littles pose for a picture. :) Third picture; Dog piling on Avilene; which Avi was loving!!

Next picture; Svea doing some more Art and this time she's making Kites for Cal, Atley, and herself. And she cut them out as well. Second picture; Well we gotta make some wind to fly the kites! Last picture; We took a little walk to the irrigation ditch and it's still running some water. Cal and Svea were sure that Avi was scaring off all the water skippers; except I never saw any when we arrived.

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
