Svea - 07/20/2022

Svea ate French toast casserole (with syrup) and two servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of Hearty Paleo Stew with meat, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, green beans, and carrots. She said, "I'm liking your stew now." She ate saltines and ate mangoes from her tropical fruit.

This first picture is leftover from yesterday afternoon and I love what was happening here!! First, it's been awhile since all 6 kids were here at the same time!! Avilene was getting everyone into their "spots" for a game of "Duck Duck Goose" that she organized by herself. Miles is the "It Guy" in the picture and it was very funny. He'd go around and around and decide who to "touch," but he'd just stand there. Avi would say, "Run Miles Run." So this is the next time and it was the same situation. When Avi said, "Run!!!" Miles took off running across the room. Haha.

Next picture: This was very cute too! I mostly liked the giggling because I know they're really enjoying each other and having a good time. I think Nora had stuck her hand down the back of Svea's dress - however she got to "bare skin" it was cute what she said; "It's warm under here!!" Haha.

Next picture: The kids have been creating all kinds of cool stuff with the art supplies. When I took this picture Nora was drawing a boat and clouds in the sky and Svea was working on a "Pirate Ship." Last picture; The girls managed to find a couple more roly poly bugs. Yesterday they found a BIG one and they were very impressed!

Svea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and three servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of her ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no peas, and ate bites of applesauce. First picture: Svea is just getting started on coloring this picture, but she was actually too busy watching Nora color and studying Nora's picture. Then, just as I was taking the picture, Svea's marker rolled off the table and Svea managed to catch it before it hit the floor. She's explaining to Nora how such an amazing feat is even possible!! Haha! Nice catch Svea. Next picture: The girls are watching a "Chicken Dance" video and dancing/singing along with it. The boys, meanwhile, are marching to their own drum and Miles is chanting, "I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew! I fart, Pee Yew!!" Svea - 5/18/2020

Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomato, avocado, and three or four cherries.  At breakfast Svea started saying, "My turn to talk. My turn to talk."  Which is what the big girls say at the table; all talking and saying it at the same time. Ha.  At lunch I put mustard on my ground turkey and I told Avi you can't be a wuss and eat mustard.  Svea said, "That's right Gary."  Haha. Here's what Svea frequently says to Lauralea: "Can you swing me Lauralea?!?"  Or, "Swing me Lauralea, swing me!?!"  And here's what she's asking: Swing me back and forth and throw me on the mattress.  :) Today was toy exchange Monday and Svea was very busy all morning.  I think these pictures kind of capture some of her morning and her busyness.  Playing with the jingle bells, food toys, and in the third picture she's trying to put the cab of the legos truck on ...

Svea - 5/19/2020

Svea ate just a couple bites of breakfast: waffle and grapes.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I took this picture because I like to catch Svea actually putting the puzzles together.  Good work Svea.  Second picture: More of the same this morning; playing with her babies. Next picture: Nora spends LOTS of time everyday dancing in front of the mirror.  During the time she went to her Preschool I never saw anyone continue this activity.  Well now she's back and here she is again.  Haha.  (Nora Boyle was the last one I remember doing this too!!  It's a "Nora thing.") Today Svea joined them as well.  So cute.
