Svea's Journal

Svea ate cheerios and a bite of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef mixed with her avocado (which I fed to her), no whole wheat pita bread, half of tomatoes, and ate watermelon. Considering the fact Avi has a morning dance class this week I'm gonna post this picture on Svea's Blog - look at all the various colors of ponytail holders I found this weekend.  My color consultant (Lauralea) said the kids would love these and they've been pretty impressed just looking at them!!  I usually let them choose which color and that takes forever!!  Haha!!  Just feels like forever.  I almost always end up saying, "Ok, choose a color or I'm gonna choose a color for you!"  Amazing how fast they can make a decision!! Svea ate oatmeal and bites of raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate fish (Alaskan Pollock - all the kids really like it), no whole wheat dinner roll, bite of cauliflower, and ate mangoes. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and Avilene was having fun looking at kids through the binoculars.  (I'm posting another picture of Avi looking at Atley on her Blog.)  Avi said, "Hey Gary!!  I found Svea!!"  Haha!  She was excited that she'd found Svea in the binoculars, but it sounded like Svea was lost and Avi had found her.  :) Svea had a great morning and played and explored continually.  She wasn't even interested in sitting for any of Story Time.  She usually sits for a few books.  I took this picture when she was playing with the masks and she left them on for much of the morning - taking them on and off and trying different ones. Svea ate bites of whole wheat English muffin and a bite of oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of everything: ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce. Baby Callahan is not here today so our morning was much more flexible and we spent a long time outside!  The kids had a blast playing at the sand tables and this was basically Svea and Linnea's first time at the sand tables.  Svea did well and was filling containers with sand.  She eventually decided to start sticking the sand toys in her mouth and other violations (haha) so it was obvious she was getting bored with it. Next picture:  Linnea and Svea each grabbed a dump truck and went up and down the sidewalk.  The first thing Linnea did was have a crash!!  If you look at the picture you can see where all of Linnea's weight is pushing down on her truck!!  But she wouldn't move her hands forward or turn the truck around like Svea did.  And she crash...

Svea ate two servings of French toast and ate strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of paleo stew with meat, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes.  (It's SO good and nutritious!)  She ate crackers and most of tropical fruit. First picture: Svea was still eating breakfast and everyone else was done.  (Svea in highchair - bottom of picture.)  The kids were jumping and Linnea kept yelling, "Watch me Svea, Watch me Svea!!"  And Svea would yell, "NO!!" which obviously meant "YES" and "DO IT AGAIN!!" because she kept laughing hard every time they'd jump!! I heard Callahan yelling and when I came around he corner Svea had his binkie in HER mouth.  She saw me coming and instantly yanked it out of her mouth and tried jamming it back in his mouth!!  Except she had her cute little guilty eyes and face focused on me and was trying to jab the binkie in his EYE!!  Haha!  That is not h...

Svea ate waffle and bites of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, no whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and several bites of baked cinnamon apples. First picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  Svea has been trying to stand up in the middle on this teeter-totter.  At least she has the good common sense to sit down when some one else comes along and starts playing on it! Next picture; Linnea REALLY wanted Svea to get into the chair so she could spin the chair around and around!  She yelled for Svea, she patted the chair, she jabbered at Svea, and she was thrilled when it finally worked!!  The following picture is really really cute in live mode.  Svea had eventually crawled out of the chair, but Linnea kept spinning it.  She'd stop when Svea couldn't see her, start up again, and stop beside Svea so they could laugh and laugh; then repeat it over again and again and again. Svea ate kix cereal and half of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef/turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, bite of tomatoes, bites of avocado, and ate her cherries. We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were very busy all morning.  Svea and Linnea were busy with the food toys.  You'll see more food toys in the 3rd picture as they were pretending to drink and eat food. Next picture: Hit a big milestone today!!  Cheers for Svea! First time off the balance beam onto the mattress!  (It won't be long and she'll be going off the igloo!!  Haha!)  Here's how it normally progresses: First they go off the yellow blocks you see in the picture.  They're obviously closer to the mattress and the kids feel more secure.  Then they graduate to the next step and go off the blue balance beam like Svea is doing.  Well Svea did those two steps in about 5 minutes!  She went off the yellow on...

First picture: Avi invited sister to "come sit on me."  So that's what Svea did and it only took about 5 - 6 seconds for Avilene to say, "Get off of me my Sister!!"  Ha!  Love the wording.  Speaking of Sister Love - Avi gave Svea a big juicy sweet kiss right square on the end of her nose.  Which was sweet and all, HOWEVER there was way too much snot and dried boogers for my taste!!  Yuck.  :) Next Picture:  Hey where'd Callahan's binky go!?!  Ahhh...now I see it!!  You little goose Svea with the cute little ponytail and no shorts or pants.  Yup, those shorts were slightly soiled!!
