Svea's Journal

Svea ate two servings of waffle and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken, no whole wheat tortillas, ate most of corn and ate baked cinnamon apples. These first three pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  She was having fun with these dress-up shoes. (we "restocked" a few shoes)  Too big, plus a heel, equals wobbly, but cute situation. Second picture - Svea really likes the little people.  She's doing very well with being gentle to Miles and she loves Callahan too.  This morning I was playing with Svea and tickling her.  She was obviously ready to be done because she said, "be gentle."  That was awesome for her to use "our phrase" in a very applicable way. Svea ate kix cereal and half of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey hash with meat, peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, sweet potatoes, and spices.  She had no whole wheat hamburger bun, and ate three servings of cherries. I asked Avilene what Svea did while she was skiing and here's her answer;  "She went back to Montana with Mommy and Sylvie."  That was SO cute. We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend - Sylvie did it.  Ha!  My involvement is paying for the help, so I feel like I can say "we."  :)  As usual the kids were super busy and engaged all morning.  First picture:  I think Svea remembered what she'd done with the xylophones the last time they were out.  (16 weeks ago!)  It's not easy to see in this picture, but there is a "ribbed" section there and the kids love running the yellow handle along it and making that noise.  So much for music lessons.  Haha. Svea ate oatmeal and a bite of apple slices for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, and potatoes.  She had bites of whole wheat dinner roll, and ate her apricots. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  So stinking cute!!  Initially she was under some pillows, but then moved those aside.  I walked over and asked her what she was doing and she said, "Hiding."  "Hiding."  :) Next picture: Svea was doing this upside-down thing and it was so cute.  I got my camera and of course she had stopped, but tried to do it again when I requested it.  This is close.  Thanks Svea for trying!!  In case someone is wondering; her pants are in the dryer!  She spilled her water bottle on the way to Daycare.  :) Next picture: This is a funny book that Avi is reading to Svea and it's a favorite in this toy exchange. Avi and Svea arrived shortly before 10:30 so we only have lunch to record in this Blog.  Svea ate two servings of pulled pork, no whole wheat toast, ate peas, and two servings of strawberries. Svea doesn't care if no one else is here; she just immediately dives into her favorite activities.  I took this first picture just moments after arrival and they had just waved at Momma Molly.  I was sitting in the rocking chair and Avilene was sitting on my lap.  Svea read one book and then put it under her feet and went to book number 2. Next picture;  She cleared the bottom shelf of all the dinosaurs and then she was rubbing them on her cheek.  Some of them have soft hair (or whatever) on the top of their heads and she likes the feel of it on her cheek. Svea ate bran cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch he ate chicken, no whole wheat pita bread, ate tomatoes, avocado, and pears. First picture: Everyone was playing with the blankets; "Super Man, Super Girl."  Svea was just running around being her cute self.  :)  Then she put on the vest and hat and was sprinting in circles on the mattress. I think the following two pictures are very cute.  Svea is hiding in the dress-up clothes and Callahan was peeking around the corner at her.  (You can see her foot sticking out by his foot.)  They played there for a long time.  Then when he wandered off I took a picture of her coming out. I already sent this picture to Momma Molly so she could see it in live mode, but I'll post it here too. Svea came over and was whipping her head back and forth, watching her hair in the mirror, and saying, "hair, hair, hair, hair." So Cal started whipping his head back-n-forth.

Svea was only here for breakfast and left around 10:30.  She ate cheerios and bites of dried plums. From yesterday at Snack Time.  We were having Apple, Cracker, and Raisins.  Svea ate her cracker and was saying, "cracker please, cracker."  I said, "Eat your apple and raisins and you can have more cracker."  Svea said, "Thank you, thank you."  :) Here are a couple pictures left over from yesterday afternoon as well.  She has frequently used this scarf/shawl or whatever it is to drape over her head and it's very cute. Next picture: This was Svea's first chore of the day; clear the 2 bottom shelves on the left.  Those are the for toy food selves.  I actually took this picture before she went to the window to wave bye to Momma. Svea ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate Meat loaf, no whole wheat tortillas, bites of carrots, and ate cherries. First picture from yesterday afternoon.  I got out the two big bears and the kids had a blast with them the rest of the afternoon and the majority of the morning as well!!  It was almost 10:30 this morning before they played with anything else; and then several times they went back to the bears.  Second picture: Svea did take time to go hang out with Miles.  He was getting tired and starting to fuss and she was trying to fix it.  :)  Except crawling on top of the baby doesn't fix anything Svea.  :) Last picture:  Now this baby's problems are much easier to fix Svea and Gary doesn't say anything when you sit on this baby or poke your finger in it's face.  :)  This doll has zipper, snaps, buttons, and laces for the kids to practice on.  Svea probably played with this doll for at least ...

Svea ate French toast and strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of "Whole 30" chili with meat, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers, tomato sauce, and lots of yummy spices.  The kids love this meal!!  She did not have any whole wheat dinner roll and she ate tropical fruit. First picture from yesterday afternoon.  You've seen identical pictures of this recently because these two play this game every day.  Svea and Linnea had packed ALL the dolls, doll blankets, stuffed animals, and pillows to this spot and played under the blue balance beam for a long time.  Second picture; This morning they were right back to the same spot, same thing!!  Third picture; Then they decided to move everything to this cozy little spot.  They both worked really hard; but especially Svea.  Man she was focused and got right after it and didn't pause until it was completed.  They only played there a few minutes; I think the process is more...

Svea ate half of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of pork chop meat, no whole wheat toast, ate half of beets, and half of applesauce. I haven't mentioned this for awhile, but Svea has been a great helper in the afternoons when we pick up the toys.  She knows where everything goes, stays right on task, and works hard.  I'm very impressed.  Good work Svea.  This first picture is from yesterday afternoon and this is pretty classic Svea and Linnea playing together - or near each other.  :)  They each have a phone and are busy making calls, updating information, and texting friends.  Haha.  Well maybe just calls - which is all these old phones had the capability to do. Svea ate whole wheat Chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef mixed with avocado, no whole wheat hamburger bun, half of tomatoes, and ate mandarin oranges. Mostly gonna post pictures here from last Friday afternoon.  I don't wanna waste good pictures!!  First one; When it was just Svea, Avi, and Atley left - everyone else was gone - I got out the new robot vacuum to show the kids and they loved it.  Svea was funny.  It made her slightly nervous when it would head towards her.  Haha. Svea ate oatmeal and some dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, no green beans, and ate applesauce. The first three pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  First; This is the dress-up garment that Avilene said I should get "rid of" because "no one likes it."  LOL  Soooo funny.  (That was on the second day of toy exchange!)  Second and third pictures: Linnea and Svea were perched up on the play sinks and cupboards playing with the ice cream cones and cups.  Then in the third picture they'd went and got some stuffed animals and were now totally focused on their phones.  I like how Linnea has her feet in the sink and Svea is sitting on her left leg. Svea had no whole wheat bagel and ate three servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger and sausage pizza with the two meats, olives, pineapple, tomato sauce, and peppers.  She ate bites of the whole wheat pizza crust (served separately), and pineapple on the side. Svea said, "Music on please, music on please."  Ha!  You bet and I love how you said please.  And of course we've talked about her saying "thank you" for everything.  Very precious.  She was doing the "snuggle snuggle snuggle" thing again today too.  As I put in yesterday's blog she's been crawling up on the couch and snuggling against me while I feed the babies.  Nora did that ALL the time too.
