Svea's Journal

Svea ate half of whole wheat English muffin and half of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of chicken with stir-fry vegetables, half of brown rice, and ate mandarin oranges. These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon and Svea was sitting on my lap and we were doing selfies.  If you saw this in live mode you'd see she was trying to make herself laugh and it was pretty funny!  Then we did some play in the sand table and they always like to do that. The 3 "big" girls were playing and running from "Zombies, monsters, and ghosts!"  Svea didn't really know what they were doing, but she joined in the running.  She came running over to me acting "breathless" add said, "It's coming, it's coming, it's coming!!"  "What's coming" I asked.  Svea said, "I don't know."  haha. Svea ate some cheerios and no banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, no whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, half of avocado, and ate strawberries. First picture: Wow!  Look how far forward Svea's leaning!!  (Yes I know that's lame! Ha!)  One of the first things Svea said, "I want my pajamas."  Haha.  Atley wanted to show Svea where she scratched her leg this weekend and nothing gets their attention like a major (or minor) wound.  Ha!  Avi was watching too and you can see Altey's reflection in the mirror. Svea ate most of brown rice and no raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of salmon, bites of whole wheat dinner roll, two servings of riced cauliflower, and ate mangoes. I was talking about Miles taking a long nap and I said, "Miles is sleeping like crazy!!"  Svea had this incredulous look and tone when she asked, "Miles is crazy?!?!"  LOL.  She loves story time and when I mention it she charges around looking for my pillows that I use on the couch for my back.  "Your pillow! I find it!  Your pillow! Svea ate half of whole wheat English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, no whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas, and two servings of applesauce. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and Svea was working so hard on stacking these blocks.  As you can see from the blocks in the background on the shelf - they are already in stacks of 5 - and she leaves them that way to make these other stacks.  Regardless (that's just being smart), she's working very hard and she sticks with it until she's finished.  She did all of these working alone. This next picture doesn't come close to capturing the humor in this situation.  The three older girls were jumping off the igloo and also jumping from the floor onto the mattress.  Each time they were yelling, "Watch out everyone!"  (Or something similar.)  So right before the picture Svea (standing beside the mattress) yelled, "Watch out e...

Svea ate French toast and three servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of Hearty Paleo Stew with meat, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots, and tomatoes.  She ate crackers and a large serving of tropical fruit. These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  I was putting ponytails in Nora's hair and Atley's hair.  "I want a pony, I want a pony!!"  No problem!!  Let's give you a ponytail!!  She's such a cutie and I love her little mannerisms!! Svea ate waffle and grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and bites of apple pieces. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when we were playing outside getting some fresh air!  This beach ball was the primary source of entertainment for everyone for the first 15 minutes.  Avi was trying to get Svea to scoot underneath the ball, but Svea was having some issues getting traction!  So Sister was giving her a boost.  :)  Second picture; Svea got her dolls organized and all lined up in a row.  :)  Then she got a doll blanket to cover them. Svea and Avilene arrived after 10:00 so for lunch Svea ate half of turkey burger, most of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, and two servings of cherries.  (The Blog may be shorter because of late arrival.  I only take notes until lunch time.) We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and of course Svea was also gone last week so everything is pretty new and she was busy.  She's always busy, but this morning was a bit extra.   I like the first picture; She was playing with the toaster and I caught a slice of bread on the right and a pancake on the left in mid-air.  :)  She loved the picture when I showed it to her. Callahan was the first kid Svea asked me about thing morning; "Where's Cal today?"  It was so good to see the Nelson girls this morning; been missing them!!  Svea had a fun busy morning and was reading books like usual as you see in the next picture.  In the last picture; she was doing the shape sorter.  ...

Svea ate bites of cream of wheat cereal and half of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of turkey loaf, ate brown rice, half of sweet potatoes, and ate her cherries. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and Svea was packing all the little balls over to this location and putting them in a line.  And she didn't like it when Cal stopped by to mess with her arrangement! She likes things to be organized too. Next picture: Linnea is not here today so Svea pretty much had full control of the all the bandanas and doll blankets.  She has at least 8 or 9 on her head in the picture.  Then in the second picture she found another way to play with them. Svea had no French toast and ate fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of chicken, ate whole wheat toast, most of broccoli, and ate a large serving of pineapple. I've mentioned this several times, but it always makes me laugh what the kids talk about when waving bye to their parents.  This morning Svea spotted the moon over the top of Momma's minivan and she said, "There's the moon guys, there's the moon!!"  There's the moon guys, there's the moon!!" Svea ate half of waffle and three servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate whole 30 chili with meat, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and peppers.  She ate half of whole wheat dinner roll, and ate her tropical fruit. I had just finished changing Svea's poopy diaper and while she was still on the changing table she spotted the crow out the window.  "Birdie, birdie, birdie!!"  She went to the window and was still wanting everyone else to see it too and join her. Svea saw our neighbor Susan walking down the sidewalk.  (NOT coming from or going to the mailboxes.)  Svea said, " IT check the mail Gary, IT check the mail!"  LOL!!  So funny.  I said, "It has a name and it's Susan."  Svea said, "Noose-un."  (rhymes with "snooze-in.") We were doing sign language and the sign was "Cat."  Someone said, "Kitty Cat."  Svea said, "Caddy Kit."  Haha.  That was funny and super cute.  She was proud that I was laughing.  Ha! Svea ate half of Chex cereal and ate three servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of ground beef, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, half of tomatoes, and two servings of mandarin oranges. We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and you can see in these first two pictures with Svea that she was a busy little girl.  She played steady all morning right up to lunch time.  The time change didn't seem to faze her at all.  (Not true for everyone!)  She played with the food toys first and then they were putting on dress-up clothes.
