Svea's Journal

Svea ate a bite of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of pork chops, no whole wheat toast, ate half of beets, and ate applesauce. When I took this first picture Callahan was joining Linnea and Svea playing with the car ramps.  You can see he's putting his hand on the ramp so that hindered the car's progress and he definitely heard about his violation from the girls.  Haha. Next picture:   I'm not sure what preceded it, but when I came around the corner Svea was saying, "You be gentle to me. Svea ate whole grain Chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of ground beef, no whole wheat hamburger bun, bite of tomatoes, ate avocados, and ate mandarin oranges. Every two weeks I start the Blogs this way:  We did toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so everything is new and different and the kids always stay super busy on Toy Exchange Monday.  Or as Atley calls it; "New Toy Monday!!"  :)  First picture: Cal was watching Svea play and she kept saying, "Try to get me! Try to get me!"  "Try to get me!!"  :)  Second picture;  Svea is playing with one of the cat masks I got, watching herself in the mirror, and sucking her thumb.  :)  You can see her eyeball if you zoom in on the picture. Next picture; She crawled up there with Baby Miles and started sucking her thumb.  Ha!  Then right after I took this picture she just randomly said, "Dentist."  Uhhhh....what? ...

Svea ate oatmeal and half of dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate some tilapia, some whole wheat elbow noodles, 1 or 2 green beans, and ate some applesauce. Svea fell off the blue balance beam and wanted a love.  It was a short hug so that usually means she didn't get hurt too bad.  When she was walking away she was saying, "be careful, be careful."  I had not said that to her, so I guess she was reminding herself.  Haha.  This Little cutie makes me laugh. First picture; Ok, speaking of making me laugh!!  "Working" with the puzzles.  Hahaha!!  She removed the pieces from all 5 puzzles and then her work here was done and she moved on to something else.  :)  Love that expression on her face!! Svea ate bites of toasted whole wheat bagel and three servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger and sausage pizza with meat, peppers, olives, pineapple, and tomato sauce.  She ate most of whole wheat pizza crust (we cut it up and serve it on the side), and more pineapple. This first picture was left over from yesterday afternoon.  A friend had posted a picture of her cat chasing it's tail on Facebook.  The cat was sitting on a pedestal (a fairly small surface) several feet in the air and going around and around.  I was impressed that it didn't tumble off!  I knew the kids would like watching that and they were really laughing. Next picture: Callahan puts these dress-up hats on by himself, but Svea was pretty sure he needed her assistance!!  :)  After all she is a professional; notice how she has the bunny ears mounted on her head!!  Haha!!  Pointing straight out!! Svea ate half of whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, no whole wheat tortillas, ate some roasted potatoes, and two servings of fruit salad. This first picture of Svea is left over from yesterday afternoon; and she was doing the same activity with the dress-up shoes again today.  The shoes are several sizes too big and she wants to jump with them; not the best combination. When she finally did jump both shoes flew off and it made her mad!  She was saying, "Can't do it!! Can't do it!!" This next picture made me laugh!!  Svea went over and started yelling at "Alexa."  Haha!!  "Stop Alexa Stop!!  Stop Alexa Stop!!"  Notice Svea's reflection in the mirror. Next picture - Playing with one of the flashlights and in the last picture Svea and Linnea are doing some more reading.

Svea ate most of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of chicken and cabbage stir fry which also had peppers, zucchini, olive oil, and spices.  She ate brown rice and mandarin oranges.  This first picture is from breakfast time and I'd just washed Svea and she was having a last drink of her milk.  See what she did with her milk.......on the edge of her highchair.........She said, "balancing."  And said all three syllables!!  Hey, I'm impressed!!  Well done Svea.  And in case you were wondering, yes this is a "re-enactment!!"  Thanks for cooperating with me Svea! Within a couple minutes of arrival Svea was saying, "snuggle snuggle snuggle."  So we were snuggling on the couch.  Along with Miles, Avi, and then Linnea was trying to join us.  I've never heard Svea say this, but she (talking to Linnea) said, "My Gary, My Gary, go play, go play."  But shortly after that encount...

Svea ate cheerios and bites of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, no whole wheat pita bread, ate tomatoes, avocado, and strawberries. Svea arrived at breakfast time and as soon as I put her in her highchair she said, "Where Miles?"  He's sleeping.  She said, "get him?"  No, we're gonna let him sleep.  I frequently let the kids go get Miles and Callahan with me when they wake up from their naps.  They love to go "get him." First picture; This is what Svea and Linnea did as soon as they were done with breakfast.  I'm not sure what the game is, but they definitely have a plan and are playing with intention.  Second picture;  Cal is keeping an eye on Svea as she works on a puzzle.  That's what the puzzle pieces are for Cal!!  Haha!!  Some of them (including the one in the picture) have a little knob for them to hang on to and Cal likes sticking it in his mouth of course and crawling around with drool dripping...
