Svea's Journal

Svea ate some bran cereal and bites of raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bite of chicken, bites of whole wheat pita bread, no avocado, ate cucumbers, and ate pears. Svea had a good morning; just like she always does.  She was engaged with activities all morning and she's always a joy to watch because she explores and works with everything.  I took this first picture shortly after she arrived and these three trucks (with shapes) were the first things she played with here. In the second picture Svea was watching herself in the mirror while she was dancing to some music. Svea ate bites of cream of wheat cereal and bites of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, brown rice, bites of roasted broccoli (yummy - thanks Lauralea), and no pineapple. I showed the girls the picture on Facebook of Momma Molly and I asked Svea, "Who is that?"  Svea said, "Avi!"  Then she looked at it again and said, "Svea!"  Haha.  So there you have it!  Both girls look like Mommy!! This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Svea and Avi were donning the same sun glasses and sitting in the sinks.  They love to just sit in those sinks.  :)  Their butts fit in there about perfect.  Ha! Svea ate three servings of waffles and a large serving of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she had no turkey loaf, no whole wheat tortillas, bites of sweet potatoes, and ate cherries. I have three pictures left over from yesterday afternoon.  Svea loves to load up on the hats and in the first picture she has on 5 of them.  (All that I have in this toy exchange.)  Which is just fine until someone else wants one!!  :)  Second picture; She's still wearing the hats!  The UPS driver had just brought a package to the door and these kids waved from the window.  Atley said, "I love him. He's my favorite boy."  Haha.  How's that for classic "love at first sight?" Svea ate three servings of French toast and three servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate "Whole 30 Chili" with meat, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, and tomato sauce.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll, and tropical fruit.  At breakfast and lunch the table kids (Nora is back - and so is Miles) started saying, "Me too, me too." That led to "me 3, me 4, me 5,......"  They were taking turns too and doing a good job of counting.  At lunch they got it turned around and Svea pitched in with this comment; "No no!! Avi 7."  Haha. Svea ate most of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of pork roast, half of whole wheat toast, half of beets, and ate applesauce.  I gave sister Avi the other half of Svea's beets at lunch and when I handed Svea's food tray back to her she said, "I ate all my beets Gary! I ate all my beets!!"  Hahaha!  Yup, they're all gone!! We went on a virtual field trip this morning and looked at web cams of different birds around the United States.  That site has the osprey here in the Missoula valley.  (The nest was empty this morning.)  Svea enjoyed it and was making comments as we went along. I took these first two pictures probably 5 minutes after Svea was waving bye to Mommy.  First business of the day; clear all the food toys out of that shelf.  And in the 2nd picture you can see she has quite a pile!  Now it's all out and easily manageable!!  :) Next picture: Svea joined the big girl...

Svea ate bites of corn Chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of ground beef, no whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of tomatoes, bites of avocado, and ate mandarin oranges. We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange over the weekend and Svea always likes the ice cream cones when they are out.  Here she is playing with just the toppings (8 "flavors") and has a cake as well.  The candles velcro to the cake.  I like how Svea has her eyes closed and is savoring her bite of ice cream. Next picture; And she always likes the dress-up clothes as well.  She was trying to get these vests on and said, "Hey Gary, Help me."  She actually has on two identical vests, but she still had one of them picked out that HAD to go on first.  Next picture:  And now it's multiple hats.  Three of them. Svea ate most of oatmeal and no dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of tilapia, no whole wheat elbow noodles, no green beans, and ate applesauce. These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Snuggles are SO fun when they first get up from their naps!!  Second picture: She has her fingers in her ears and she's saying, "Can't hear you Gary, can't hear you Gary."  So cute. Next picture: This is where Svea was at when I called her for breakfast.  And this is where she went right back to after breakfast.  All nice and cozy under the blue balance beam with pillows, stuffed animals, and doll blankets.
