Svea's Journal

Svea ate half of whole wheat English muffin and most of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bite of chicken, ate brown rice, bites of stir fry vegetables, and ate mandarin oranges.  Poor Svea, her nose has ran steady all morning.  Or as she says; "Gary, my nose is running off!"  Haha. Svea ate brown rice and one raisin for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of salmon, no whole wheat dinner roll, two servings of cauliflower, and two servings of mangoes. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when the kids were playing with the big parachute that came with Svea and Avi.  The 4 girls are under it in this picture. I heard someone say, "This will be a good place to hide from our Mommas!" Next picture; This is the first thing Svea did this morning; went up to Atley, looked at the tutu she's wearing over her shorts, and said, "I LOVE your dress."  Then she looked at Atley's bow in her hair and said, "And I love this too!"  When I took this picture Atley was showing Svea all of her wounds; present, past, and long gone!  :) Next two pictures; having fun in the chair!!  What a cutie!  Love you Svea.  She thought it was funny because I was peeking around the chair at her.  Following picture: Zoom i...

Svea had a bite of whole wheat English muffin and ate two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, bites of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas, and applesauce. First picture: Playing with the Superman/Batman toys with Callahan.  She usually is very willing to let Cal play right beside her like this and enjoys him a lot.  Their temperaments mesh pretty well!!  In the second picture Svea was playing the drums with me and I was singing silly songs.  (She's watching Callahan.)  He'd been standing on them so I was showing him ( again) how to use the drums.  :) Next picture: Svea was saying, "Where's the other comb Gary!?!  Where's the other comb!?!" She's holding 3 combs in her left hand and searching for the 4th comb.  Haha.  Last picture:  Svea was looking at this book and said, "This looks like you Gary."  :)  Yup, white hair and bald.  Haha.

Svea ate half of whole wheat toast and three servings of watermelon for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of Hearty Paleo Stew with meat, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes.  She ate saltines and most of tropical fruit.  (Picked out all the mangoes and left most of the pineapple.) At breakfast the conversation was all about swimming with Atley and Nora leading the way, but Atley also questioned Svea about her swimming abilities.  And of course everyone can do everything!!  That point was never in doubt!! Atley; "Can you make your head stand underwater?"  (LOL) Nora; "Yes." Atley; "Can you jump in the deep end?" Nora; "Yes." Atley; "Svea, can you jump in the deep end?" Svea; "Yes."  Haha. Svea ate waffle and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, no whole wheat tortillas, two servings of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples. First picture: This is leftover from yesterday afternoon and shortly before this Lauralea had come outside for something and then before leaving she was scratching my back.  Thank you Lauralea!  Anyhow, Avi wanted Lauralea to scratch her back, Nora also asked, but Svea asked if she could scratch Lauralea's back.  Isn't that sweet and cute!?!  So Lauralea sat on a bike and I took a picture. :) Next picture: Svea making a grand entrance.  Haha.  This picture actually was shortly after she arrived and I was getting a kick out of all the dancing she was doing.  Nice work Svea.  And of course there was a fair amount of time in front of the mirrors too!! Svea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, cucumber, and her cherries.  Now that Svea is sitting at the table after every meal she has to push her chair all the way up to the table.  AND she'll push the other chairs up too if anyone forgot to do their's.  :)  Nice work Svea. We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and everyone was very busy all morning.  First picture with her baby.  She was singing, "Rock a bye Baby" and then said, "I love you Baby." Svea ate oatmeal and bites of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger stew with meat, green beans, carrots, and tomatoes.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. I was giving Callahan a love and I said, "you're such a sweet little boy."  Svea heard that and said, "Sometimes he grab my hair!!"  LOL!  Made me laugh.  I said, "Yes that's true and we're teaching him to be gentle."  Svea nodded her head yes.  It was very cute. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  Svea asked for the chalk and she played with it for at least 20 - 30 minutes.  She was the only one and actually she's been the first to ask for chalk every day this past week. Svea ate two servings of French toast and ate several dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pulled pork, no whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three big servings of watermelon. First picture; This was shortly after Svea arrived and she and Cal were being goofy on the mattress.  Later Svea said, "Gary Gary, I hurt my foot!"  I said, "Oh that's too bad" and I was giving her loves. Then I said, "Maybe Sister will kiss it for you."  I was just being silly, but Avi wanted to know the EXACT location on Svea's foot and sure enough, she kissed it for Svea.  That was super sweet Avi. Speaking of sweet, in this next picture Callahan knows that Svea loves the doll blankets and bandanas and he was bringing them to her.  Svea loved that.  Following picture; Svea managed to get several legos flowers on the ends of her fingers. Svea had no whole wheat toast and ate three servings of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef with marinara sauce on top of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate riced cauliflower, and two servings of fruit salad. These first three pictures are all left over from yesterday afternoon.  Svea loves to get a stack of books before she's ready to sit down and start reading.  However, she doesn't always make the stack quite so precarious and precariously close to the edge of the couch!!  Haha.  Second picture; She said, "Gary, help me with my COW Boots."  Haha.  Isn't that cute.  Third picture; She has mastered the pedaling of the bikes.  Good job Svea.  If you zoom in on this picture you'll see she has her tongue hanging out. Svea ate half of blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, a large serving of brown rice, bites of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries. Picture left over from yesterday and this was SO adorable when I realized what Atley was describing in detail to Svea.  This was a very serious story!!  Momma Megan shared how Atley was really scared of going potty in one of the Forest Service Campground Toilets!!  But they explained to Atley it was either that or they'd have to pack up and go home.  Atley got very brave and hanging on to the rail while going potty kind of saved the camping trip!  When I took this picture I could hear Atley saying, "There is a rail you can hang onto!!"  SO SO CUTE! Svea ate half of bran cereal and no raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of chicken, half of whole wheat pita bread, half of tomatoes, ate avocado, and ate pears. Svea climbed up to watch me change a diaper for Miles and as usual he started touching himself.  Svea was adamant; "Don't touch it! Don't touch it! Svea ate French toast and three servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of whole 30 chili with meat, peppers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and lots of spices.  She ate none of the whole wheat dinner roll and ate tropical fruit salad. I started a Blog for Miles today (even though his birthday is the 10th) so I'm now doing 6 Blogs and the times the Blogs get posted may change a bit.  Again, it will usually be between 12:30 and 2:30.  So Grandparents in far away places may need to be patient.  haha. This first picture was taken yesterday afternoon and Svea was asking me to snuggle her.  "Please snuggle me Gary, please snuggle me."  Well of course!!  And snuggle time is a time for selfies too!!
