Svea's Journal

Svea ate whole wheat Chex cereal and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, no whole wheat hamburger bun, bite of tomato, ate avocado, and two servings of mandarin oranges.    Nora and Svea were playing in the igloo again like they've been doing everyday lately.  Nora had to go to the bathroom and then I heard her holler something from the bathroom!!  Lauralea told me what Nora said; "Hey Svea!!  make sure nobody gets in my spot ok!!"  Haha.  I'm pretty sure Svea (still in the igloo) wasn't even aware that Nora had yelled for her.  :) Svea wanted Callahan to stop grabbing her toy so she said, "Go away and read books!!"  LOL!  That made me laugh because kids usually just yell and scream or whatever.  They don't usually make suggestions about where the other kid should go!!  :) First picture: So we did a Toy, Book, and Puzzle exchange this weekend and Svea was playing with the Doctor toys a lot this morning....

Svea ate oatmeal and most of dried cranberries for breakfast.  She was not here for lunch.  Svea looks so dang cute with 2 ponytails!!   First picture; I wasn't sure what she was doing here, but there was lots of cuteness happening!  She was super busy, working hard, humming to herself, and totally absorbed in her work.  She eventually said, "I make my house."   Next picture: Avi made a "horse" for herself, Svea, and then for Callahan.  (He's on his horse, but partially hidden behind Avi.)  When she was done Cal said, "nice."  :)  Thank you Avi for being so sweet to the little people.  You have a great heart.  Following picture; Svea and Nora in the igloo again and it's VERY FULL with ALL the pillows, dolls, doll blankets, stuffed animals, dress-up clothes, shoes, purses, hats, and I think that's about it.  :) Last picture; Svea was yelling outside because she didn't think she was getting fair treatment under the big parac...

Svea ate blueberry bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger and sausage pizza with meat, pineapple, peppers, olives, and tomato sauce.  She ate half of whole wheat pizza crust (which we serve separate) and ate pineapple on the side.  During Lunch Avilene asked, "How do you know these peppers (in the pizza) are good to eat?"  This was the only answer I could think of:  "Well they were in Costco's food section so I just made an assumption.  And I guess there is a certain amount of faith involved too."  Haha.  First picture:  Atley was riding in the chair and the other three girls were spinning it as fast as it could go. Avi was complaining because Svea is "going too slow!!"  Haha.  There is another picture of this in Avi's Blog because Callahan was getting in the road too, so Avi boosted him into the chair beside Atley.  Haha. Svea ate whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of pork roast, ate whole wheat tortillas, carrots, and two servings of fruit salad.     First picture;  Svea preparing to jump off the igloo after Nora clears out of the way!  And you get to see that Avi shared her sack with Nora!!  Following picture: Nora and Svea hanging out together again.  It's really cute and interesting how the kids interact with each other.  And what attracts certain personalities to each other.  Nora invited Svea to lay beside her; "there are two pillows here Svea."  Nora knows Svea will lay like that, but not Avi or Atley!!  :) Last picture: So this was by far the highlight of Svea's morning!!  Playing at the Doll House in the Preschool Room.  This is really the first time she's got to spend any time in the Preschool Room.  She did an excellent job of listening to me and played with this stuff without...

Svea ate whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, bites of brown rice, no stir fry vegetables, and ate mandarin oranges.   Yesterday morning I was talking to Svea and asked, "What'd you do this weekend?"  She said, "I crashed on the sidewalk at the country pool." And she was pointing out an old scratch on her knee.  Avilene said, "I think it was on her head."  :) I have a couple pictures left over from yesterday afternoon.  (Speaking of yesterday, I have NO pain today and I'm so thankful!!) Miles, Cal, and Svea were crawling on the mattress and playing around the blue balance beam.  Notice that Svea has a flashlight too - lighting the path for Miles!  Ha. In the second picture Nora and Svea have taken up residence in the igloo and were laying in there sucking their thumbs in unison!  Notice Everyone: There will not be a Blog today.  Lauralea is covering for me at 11:00. I have a painful swollen disk in my lower neck and I'm receiving an injection today.  All prayers and thoughts for a successful injection are appreciated.  Blogs should resume tomorrow. 

Svea ate brown rice and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate salmon, no whole wheat dinner roll, two servings of cauliflower, and two servings of mangoes.    First two pictures;  Svea was done with breakfast and Lauralea came by and asked her if she wanted Lauralea to fix her ponytail.  "Yes."  So I had to take a picture because Lauralea can do better without a comb than I can using a comb!!  Soon after that Svea went back into the play room and came back with a dress she wanted help with.  And of course that was followed up with a trip to the mirror.  :)    Next picture: Callahan was sad because he'd just waved bye to Mom and Bubba.  He was waving happily and when they drove on by he started some sadness.  I asked Svea if she wanted to give Cal a love and you can see in the picture what Callahan did next.  He was ready.  He laid his head sideways like he does and "I'm ready!!" Svea ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of meat balls, bite of whole wheat elbow noodles, most of peas, and ate applesauce.   Yesterday afternoon I was putting a ponytail in Svea's hair and I always have them look at the picture on the calendar on the wall straight in front of us.  The picture for August is a kitten beside a puppy.  I asked Svea, "What do you call a baby dog?"  She said, "A cat."  Haha. No.  So she gave it a second guess; "Melvin."  Haha.  No again, but I'll give you credit for creativity.   This first picture was taken before Svea even made it to the window to wave at Momma.  So many purses, so little time!!  It was all I could do to pry her away from the purses to go wave at the window!!  Next picture: Svea has these little people all arranged just the way she wants them in chairs around a table.  She said, "Going to get more p...

Svea ate French toast and three servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of her Hearty Paleo Stew with meat, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli, and cauliflower.   She ate saltines and two servings of tropical fruit.   At breakfast I asked Svea what she did last night.  She said, "Oh, I swim at the Country Pool."  Hahaha.  Avi heard that of course and yelled, "No you didn't! No you didn't!!"  Haha.   Today Nora was yelling at Svea; "I don't like that Svea!!  I don't like that Svea! I don't like that Svea!"  I couldn't see that Svea was doing anything so I asked Nora, "what is Svea doing?"  Nora said, "She's peeking at my face."  Ok then.....so sometimes the conflicts are super serious.  :)  This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  I thought it was cute how Svea was watching the "older" kids in the Preschool, but I especially liked how sh...

Svea ate waffles and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and ate most of baked cinnamon apples.     This first picture was super super cute.  Svea was pretending to drink from the container she's holding and then they'd laugh like it was the funniest thing they've ever seen.  They kept doing it for many many minutes; WAY beyond when it had ceased to be funny.  Haha.  Second picture: Svea is the one who was asking to do sand play and she was having a grand time.   I was talking to Avilene about something and I commented; "Oh that's right your Daddy was not home last night."  Svea said; "He's at Falls."  Haha.  Avi said, "NOOOO!!  He's at Great Falls."  I thought Svea did good to remember part of it!! Svea ate kix cereal and no mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, no whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, no tomatoes, and ate cherries.   During breakfast Svea looked at Nora and said, "I love you Nora."  It was very sweet and cute.   Callahan was happy to see Miles when I got Miles up from his morning nap.   Cal said, "Hi Mau Mau, Hi Mau Mau!  Of course Svea had to start saying it too with a big grin on her face; "Hi Mau Mau, hi Mau, Mau."  It was pretty funny and she loves making me laugh. Svea ate two servings of French toast and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pulled pork, bites of whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of watermelon.     I was asking Svea where she was going today and she said, "Seely Lake."  THEN, she started asking random questions which were SO cute.  She said, "Can horses swim?"  Yes, they are good swimmers. "Can pigs swim?"  Well I certainly think so, but I'll have to Google that to be sure.  They don't especially like the water.  (That's my guess.)  Well according to my Google search pigs can swim AND they like the water.  She still had one more; "Can cows swim?"  Yes, they can swim.   First picture: This was what Svea played with first thing this morning; the Superman Building.  I love it when I can hear her talking during her play and listen to her brain working.  Ha.  She's pretty creative and does lots of make-believe and dramatic play. ...

Svea ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast.   For lunch she ate ground beef with marinara sauce on top of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate cauliflower, and ate fruit salad.    First picture: We were just being silly and covering Svea with a couple of pillows.  She was grinning and giggling and laying there sucking her thumb.  Next picture; Svea had this stack of books on the couch and then saw Avi under the legos table.  So she moved her books down to the floor - ONE book at a time.  That made me laugh.  And now she's looking to see if there is room to mover in beside  sister Avilene.   Here are some pictures from outside this morning; Svea is practicing riding that bike and she's going pretty fast down the sidewalk now!!  Following picture; Hey, I got 5 out of my 6 kids in this one picture.   That doesn't happen very often unless I arrange it that way!!  I'm not sure why Cal and Svea were cra...
